This platter's design was originally quilted by Adriana, hence the stitches and ripples and denim texture! A horse arrives at the top of a mountain and looks out over the land, where an owl watches in a tree and a swallow dives in the sky.
This serving platter is 11" across. It's made of a light B-Mix Clay, with designs accentuated by cinnamon and orange underglazes plus cobalt carbonate, and soda fired to cone 5.
