This toasty golden lustery bowl has quick brush strokes of hills, trees, birds by day, and the moon by night. While being soda fired, cloudy grey ash happened to blow on the day-time side. Use this bowl for decoration or for mixing a cake or serving salad.
The bowl is 9" across and 5" high, wheel thrown with B-Mix clay, glazed in Shino, brush work with iron oxide, and soda fired for atmospheric effects to cone 10.
